Meet Andrea

NICE TO MEET YOU!

I believe movement practices like yoga offer a tangible way to connect with ourselves, cultivate awareness, and create space for healing and growth.

Andrea Schultz, RYT200

Growing up, movement was always a part of my life. From ballet and jazz/modern dance in my early years to yoga throughout motherhood and now into middle age, movement has been a constant source of grounding, resilience, and transformation through every season of life. I have been teaching yoga since 2019 and am a 200-hour Registered Yoga Teacher, having completed my training with Yoga Union. I also hold an 85-hour Prenatal Yoga Teacher Training certification through Bhakti Yoga Movement under the guidance of Shana Celnicker-Chong. In addition, I am a Lamaze-Certified Holistic Childbirth Educator from Awaken Spirit Yoga and an Aqua Yoga Instructor, which allows me to support students across a variety of life stages and environments. My teaching is rooted in a deep appreciation for the relationship between the physical body and the emotional body. I believe movement practices like yoga offer a tangible way to connect with ourselves, cultivate awareness, and create space for healing and growth. Whether you're stepping onto the mat for the first time or simply seeking a supportive practice, my intention is to create a welcoming space where you can move with curiosity, compassion, and confidence. Outside the studio, I'm the proud mother of two sons in their twenties. I love spending time outdoors, taking trips to the coast, and sharing life's little adventures with my dog, Maggie Mu. These simple moments in nature continue to inspire the presence, balance, and joy that I hope to bring into every class.
