Thrive Community Kollective
Wellness as a collective act
The Thrive Community Kollective (TCK) is the pulse of Thrive’s heart-centered community:
a member-led collective dedicated to expanding access to wellness through heart-centered projects. We are a community of instructors, practitioners, and volunteers pooling our time, skills, resources, and heart to ensure wellness services and resources are accessible to all of us.
Our Origin
The Story
Our founding members, "The Mavens," stepped up not as "helpers," but as stakeholders in their own sanctuary. They tended the planters, hosted dinners, and kept the common areas open and welcoming because they knew that the health of the center was tied to their own health and that of the community.
The Evolution
As this energy grew, we realized we needed a formal way to protect and empower this spirit. We transitioned into a Mutual Benefit Corporation—a structure that belongs to its members. This allows our community to lead initiatives legally and sustainably, ensuring that the heart-centered work started by The Mavens can continue for years to come.
Our Space
Our physical home reflects this mission. Thrive has intentionally dedicated over 40% of our building to common space—a sanctuary where teachers, instructors, clients, and volunteers can mix, mingle, and share a complimentary cup of tea.
TCK was born from knowing that we are our own best resource. When Thrive faced challenges, some yoga students stepped off their mats and into action.
Your Vision, TCK Collective Support
The Vision
Any member can identify a community need—whether it’s a gap in wellness access, a scholarship requirement, or a space that needs tending.
Resource Pool
Once a project is "pitched," we look to our collective. Who has the time? Who has the skill? Who has the passion? We move forward when we have the collective buy-in to sustain the work.
Mutual Benefit
We give and we receive. By tending to the Kollective’s projects, members gain access to shared training, complimentary classes, and a deep sense of belonging.

Are You a Heart Tender?
Everyone has something to offer and everyone has something to learn.
Who we are looking for: Are you a collaborator who values co-creation? Do you have a little passion, time, and/or resource to share? Are you someone who sees a need and wants to organize a solution?
The "Easy-Peasy" Commitment:
-
Annual Dues: $25. This isn't a "fee", it’s a collective contribution that covers our shared insurance and legal standing.
-
The Code of Conduct: We agree to show up with respect, inclusivity, and a "heart-centered" approach.
-
Reciprocity: In exchange for your energy, the Kollective offers monthly classes, "insider" retreat access, and a supportive network that has your back.
