Join Thrive instructor Sage in this three part workshop all about integrating yoga into your daily life. Each day focuses on a different aspect that yoga can be used as a tool for.
Part one, Friday (10/19) 6-9pm -- Yoga as a tool for spiritual growth and wholeness. Whether you follow one or more spiritual paths, this workshop will focus on the devotion to ourselves. Maybe that means stepping away from the concept of identity, or even giving in to the unknown by allowing yourself to pause and exist here and now. Maybe that means aligning yourself with your own values, or the values of a god or gods, or even the values of the universe. This workshop will provide tools of meditation and yoga poses to find that spiritual wholeness.
Part two, Saturday (10/20) 3-6pm -- Yoga as a tool for emotion healing and building resilience. Sage's training has been specific to trauma-informed teaching. They provide a safe space, emotionally and physically for your practice. This workshop will go into concepts of overcoming anxiety and depression with yoga (as one tool), steadying yourself in a consistently traumatizing culture, and strengthen your will and resilience for personal and emotional growth.
Part three, Sunday (10/21) 3-6pm -- Yoga as a tool for physical recovery and stability. Whether you are working with an injury, minor or severe, this workshop is about finding the right yoga poses and techniques for YOUR body. Every body is unique and moves in its own way, and this workshop will focus on that body awareness, working around injuries, creating stability and recovering from injury.
