Warm-Up to Yoga: How to put more fun and comfort into your practice
Join Thrive OG and Thrive Yoga School Graduate, Denyse McGriff 200RYT, for an afternoon of conversation and gentle practice.
Denyse has been a devoted student at Thrive since the beginning. You may have seen this "studio mom" fixing up the props or stealing away with dirty towels to wash them for us. Since graduating from Thrive Yoga School last summer, Denyse has continued to stretch herself beyond her comfort zone as she has continued her yoga education and travels. As part of Denyse's commitment to doing things that scare her or that are uncomfortable, she has been training for the American Lung Association's Climb for Clean Air on Mt. Hood, in honor of her late mother.
Denyse is a supportive and active Thrive community member. We want to honor her commitment to self empowerment by supporting her fundraising effort.
In this workshop, Denyse will discuss her journey from Thrive Yoga & Wellness to the Climb for Clean Air on Mt. Hood. Denyse says, "Yoga has given me the confidence and stamina to undertake this challenge. Imagine what it can do for YOU!"
During this workshop you will:
Work with each other and studio props to explore areas of the body and increase awareness.
Cultivate flexibility and stability.
All levels welcome!
"Life can be hard. Yoga should not be! Come and let's play!"
