Mission Statement

Thrive Yoga School is dedicated to educating and empowering students by providing the tools and training necessary to be successful, confident, and well-rounded yoga teachers within our community and beyond. Our highly skilled yoga-school faculty and guest teachers offer a strong focus in Vinyasa Yoga, anatomy, philosophy, neuroscience, trauma-informed teaching, and the art of mindfulness - in practice and in life.

Curriculum Overview

Our program offers a holistic mind-body-spirit approach to ensure a well-rounded and richly integrated curriculum.  Our unique neuroscience and trauma-informed concentration offers our students the educational experience to understand how yoga works in the brain and emotions. This allows yoga school students to have the increased ability to be more in-tune with the diverse experiences of their future students and lead intuitive and sensitive classes.

Students will experience anatomy training led by a highly skilled physical therapist. We feel that knowledge and application of anatomy and biomechanics is an integral part of keeping our students safe and ensuring that they can experience the physical aspects of yoga more fully.

Our curriculum also nourishes the spirit. The yoga philosophy component of our yoga school helps our students to embody the teachings of yoga and incorporate living their yoga in everyday life.

Graduates of the Thrive Yoga School 200-Hour Teacher Training program will be confident as they go out into the world and teach with poise and confidence. Additionally, they will acquire a solid foundation of yoga as a business and the ability to pursue their own entrepreneurial yoga journey.
