Death is grim, in this culture. Most folks don't want to talk about it, or when they do it comes with fear or even guilt. However, death doesn't need to be thought of as this ultimate end of all things. It can actually be celebrated, valued, and understood on a more personal level to allow us to let those we love pass with ease, and to find more joy in our own lives. Join Sage, death doula and Thrive yoga instructor, for this moderated & free-flowing discussion on death
Relaxing in restorative postures while receiving hands-on massage.
Deepen Your Practice with Kimi Marin
Did you know that yoga poses come in “families?” Many yoga postures mimic each other and by learning the proper alignment in particular families, helps to create a deeper understanding of how to align your body in each pose. Join Kimi Marin totake your practice deeper by slowing down and re-familiarizing yourself with some of the common poses. In each session, you will deepen your understanding of a family of postures and learn how it feels in your body in order to deepen your yoga practice.
In every session you will explore standing postures, balancing postures, seated postures, and move to a more advanced (and surprise!) posture. You will learn how specific postures are supposed to feel in your body as well as the different modifications. Come prepared to learn, laugh, and enjoy the journey!
Come to one session or all three!
Join us for a liberating evening of free-form dance and movement, and intentional sharing of space. Music curated by Mynx. Hosted by Thrive graduate Eva Denka .
Join us on a transformative journey of healing and deep relaxation, as we bathe every cell of the body in therapeutic sound and vibration. The pure, penetrating sound waves of the gong will leave you feeling tuned, refreshed, and connected with your intuitive personal power.
This is a monthly event to be held on select Saturdays of the year.
Join us this summer for kids yoga camp! We will learn about mindfulness as a daily practice, move through various styles of yoga, move in ways that connect us to our bodies, and learn to breathe efficiently and meditate. Our instructors will lead the kiddos through games and art projects specifically designed to incorporate these ideas in age-appropriate ways. Yoga is a great tool for calming the nervous system to deal with emotions, stress and trouble focusing. Pre-registration is required for all three days, please reach out with any questions or to request financial aid for your child.
