What is Wellness Coaching? 

Wellness coaches help clients to increase health and well-being.  Employing the tenets of positive psychology, motivational interviewing, appreciative inquiry, goal-setting theory, and more,  a wellness coach can help you develop and implement a personal wellness plan.


About Coach Marci Jory MS, RYT: 

In addition to being the owner of Thrive Yoga & Wellness and a registered yoga teacher, Marci has a bachelors degree in psychology and masters degree in health promotion and exercise science. She completed her wellness coaching training with Wellcoaches in 2015. Marci is passionate about using her experience and education to help others become empowered and well. She believes that we all have everything we need to thrive already within us. Sometimes we just need someone else to act as a mirror and reflect back to us all of the strengths and gifts we possess. Marci helps her clients mine for these strengths. Her come-as-you-are philosophy and warmth, makes her accessible and easy to talk to. She loves celebrating her clients' successes with them and helps them use challenges and setbacks as welcome learning and growing opportunities. 

About Wellcoaches:

Wellcoaches is a partner with American College of Sports Medicine and American College of Lifestyle Medicine. Wellcoaches mission includes training coaches who will help people rise above the barriers to good health and thriving by making lasting changes to mindset and behavior. This program is approved through the National Consortium for Credentialing Health and Wellness Coaches. Through a partnership with the National Board of Medical Examiners, Wellcoaches helped to develop national standards for health and wellness coaches
