Each year during the Winter Solstice, nature pauses in the stillness and darkness of winter and beckons us to do the same. It's almost as if she's conspiring to help us go deep into our own place of silence so we can reflect, meditate, and plant the seeds that will bring our hopes and aspirations into manifestation during the coming year.
This is, for many of you, the favorite meditation of the year! This year is extra special because we will be in our new location, our new home.
Three-Hour Yoga and meditation day camps to achieve inner calmness and self-confidence. Ages 6-12
Three hours of guided meditation and a deep restorative class, where silence is offered and space is held. We will begin with gentle movement, allowing tension to release as we sink into a nurturing restorative practice.

Join Mimi Cogswell LPC, PC on a journey to mindfulness in this 8-week series offering mindfulness based stress reduction.
Warm-up to Yoga 2: how to put more fun and comfort in your yoga practice
A follow-up to the Spring 2018 workshop. You do NOT have to have attended Warm-up to Yoga 1 as these are stand-alone courses.
Come and join Denyse McGriff 200hr RYT, in a gentle practice where we will be working on increasing our flexibility and stability. You may recognize Denyse as she is an active part of the Thrive community. Denyse can be found tidying up the studio, or otherwise offering a hand. She has been taking quite a bit of continuing education in her yoga training and is excited to share her practice with us.
In this workshop you will:
* Learn how to warm-up to get ready to practice
* Work with props to make poses more accessible
*May include partner work to help improve stability and
to have fun……..

Explore the ancient art of belly dance in this three-part series of 75-minute sessions. Each class will begin with centering breath work and an invigorating yoga warm-up targeting core, arm, and spine strengthening , as well as hip and heart opening movement. An introduction to the isolations and foundational movements of belly dance will follow, building to integrated dance sequencing and interactive improvisational dance.
PARDON- Renewals happen every season. As we gather together you'll be encouraged, inspired and motivated to unlock your potential as you come to your mat.
